The horticultural Solar LED grow lighting system is specifically designed to minimize

power conversion losses and maximize LED optical output optimized for vertical plant production. The led spectrum (spectral distribution) was designed to be used with many types of plants.

WHY NOT USE BATTERIES ?

Batteries (chemical energy) life expectancy is short about 500-1000 cycles because it require a dual chemical reaction - one for storing the energy and one for converting stored chemical energy into electrical energy.

Battery life expectancy

This depends on the number of full charges (from 0 to 100%) that they can undergo before their effectiveness gradually diminishes, until they no longer function.

The most commonly used batteries are:

  • lithium batteries: up to 1000 charge cycles

  • nickel batteries: expect around 500 cycles

  • lead batteries : expect around 300 cycles

  • Hyperexon model SR80 LED horticultural grow light

  • The spectral output from SR80 drive photosynthesis with irradiance that extends in the range of 400 to 700 nm 

  • The SR80 is 48 inch long and is using multiple LED modules (8 LED Modules), also
